About Sanyo

Sanyo is a significant Japanese hardware organization and a previous candidate of the Fortune Global 500. Headquartered in Moriguchi, Osaka prefecture in Japan, it was established by Toshio Iue in 1949. The organization was named "Sanyo," signifying "three seas," to speak to the originator's desire to create business around the globe. He wanted to profit by the three center resources of the organization: amazing HR, predominant advancements and top of the line administrations. In the last part of the 1970s, the originator's desire to produce business around the globe became reality when Sanyo acquainted itself with a North American purchaser. In spite of its progress with accomplishment in the market today, the mid 2000s achieved significant changes for the organization. In 2004, the Chuetsu quake struck and damaged Sanyo's semiconductor plant which brought about a colossal monetary misfortune for that year. In 2005, the organization saw a 205 billion yen total compensation misfortune (proportionate to a 1.8 trillion misfortune in US Dollars). In November of 2006, Sanyo reported overwhelming misfortunes and employment cuts. In 2008, their cell phone division was obtained by Kyocera. Later that equivalent year, Sanyo and Panasonic made a declaration of a proposed buyout that would make Sanyo an auxiliary of Panasonic. At that point a proper declaration of their procurement was made open on Sanyo's site in December of 2008. In December of 2009, Sanyo turned into a subsidiary branch of Panasonic.
